Physician assistant role:
Physician assistants are medical professionals. they will be
licensed to practice medicine under physician supervision. they do
various work as a physician assistant like making physical
examination and diagnosis, planning treatment, prescribe medicines,
making counseling for preventive health care, making rounds with a
senior physician, ordering tests, and interpreting the results,
they assist for surgery and minor procedures. Physician assistants
involved in research, education, training, administrative service.
PA deliver primary care service and care in the clinic and also
they handle many Medicaid, children health insurance program, young
patient, an uninsured patient. they focus highly on prevalence
service than physician care. As long term practice, managerial,
executive functions they focus on inpatient specialty practice.
physician assistants make collaborative practice with senior
physicians and others. they educated in general medicine and they
provide care in special and subspecialty areas for their entire
career. specialized care includes anesthesia, dermatology,
cardiology, ENT, general medicine, neurology, gynecology, surgery,
pediatrics, radiology. Additional training, certification,
requirement, roles, responsibility make them practice in various
specialty areas. they continued employed at hospitals, outpatient,
inpatient centers, nursing homes, physical offices. they also
involve in administrative duties like updating patient records and
communicating with patients online and making notes. a physician
assistant working with the scope of practice to provide care almost
like another clinical and other physicians and they will be
independent medical decision-makers in their therapeutic service
practice settings. physician assistants must show strong cognitive
and skilled attributes and function with the highest ethical
standards in the delivery of health care.
