Should we concentrate on saving just the charismatic species, or do the ugly ones deserve as much saving? or More? Can you convince folks to save the little known, and less attractive species?

Conservation of animals has to be done by the humans as only due to the human activities the extinction of more than 5000 species has been in endangers in this nature and now we taxonomically differentiated species into charismatic species and ugly ones but according to my view there is no ugly and cute according to me because for example pig is the species were some countries will be treated as the ugly animal but some countries will be having as a pet and allow them to grow along with them and some countries will treat that as a god so according to me there is no such extinct like that and we should not only save the cute species only because every species in this nature having a specified role in protecting the nature (excepting the human according to me) and also a specified role in the food chain were we should not show the difference in the species as a cute and ugly because either directly nor indirectly one species will help another as a supporting role
