Can you think of an infectious disease that poses the threat of a pandemic and may require isolation or quarantine efforts.

What kind of social impact of isolation or quarantine should an outbreak or threat of widespread transmission occur. Would there be a question of moral responsibility or do other factors take precedence? What would you personally advise in regard to governments or healthcare organizations imposing mandatory immunization, isolation, or quarantine?

What would you hope government officials, healthcare professionals, or even your own friends or family do to aid you in this time?

Infectious disease are those which can infect the people who comes in contact which the infected person. Some of the disease spreads easily from one person to the other where as some of the disease may take time to show the symptoms and effects.

If we talk about the isolating the infectious person, it is the need of this era because the population is increasing day by day and if the patient is not being isolated then the disease will be spread like a jungle fire. Although isolating an infected person may cause discomfort to the patient as well as his family but there is no other option for the infectious disease. We can take the example of the tuberculosis, it spreads through the contact with the direct patient or by using the things related to him which can carry the fluid or the germs. At instant the disease may not occur but after many years, the symptoms occur.

Immunization has become need of the generation, because of the increasing infectious disease worldwide. But the immunization not completely protects us from the disease but for the particular time period, we are less prone to the diseases for what we are immunized for.

The role of the government officials of the hospitals and healthcare is more than the family in terms of isolation. A person himself suffering from the infectious disease and along with the isolation, no source of being with the family may effect his mental level. Patient can go into depression while being alone or by mistreated with the healthcare officials. So, people should make them feel comfortable by talking and behaving good with them.
