Over the years, technology has touched a new acme and now it is not confined to developed countries. Developing countries such as India have kept pace with the world in modern technology. Healthcare professionals can no longer ignore the application of information technology to healthcare because they are key to e-health.Computers enable nurses to quickly access important information about your health or illness and your treatment plan from your electronic health record. Nurses can access information such as your laboratory test and x-ray results and health reports from other health-care team members to give you the best care possible.
Computers are the excellent means for storage of patient related data. . It is often necessary to maintain detailed records of the medical history of patients. Doctors often require the information about a patient's family history, physical ailments, already diagnosed diseases and prescribed medicines.
