43. The Memory Cells are a type of WBC, White Blood Cells that are formed from the leukocytes. They
produce antibodies (proteins) that attack an intruder cell or virus. Such cell products are secreted from the cell through: a) facilitated transport, b) active transport, c) pinocytosis. d) transport through the cell membrane by a process termed exocytosis, e) all are true.
Hi,
Please find the below answer. Hope this will help you out.

d) transport through the cell membrane by a process termed exocytosis
Memory cell is a white blood cell that possess’ antibodies for a certain antigen that has infected a body once before. If the same antigen infects that body again, the immune system will be able to react much faster by producing more of those antibodies again to cure that body. This can be explained by taking the example of vaccines we take in our childhood. Vaccines contain inactive microbial strains, when entered into body acts as antigens and thus antibodies are secreted by our immune system and kill the foreign particles. When a same species enter into body next time, these memory cells interfere in defense mechanism as they store information of past. The antibodies are released into the blood stream by the process of exocytosis.
