1.Creating positive patient-provider relationship is indeed a risky business.The current trend is that patients are looking for health providers who has the patience to hear what they have to say.The three forms of patient provider relationship isempathy, strong communication and shared decision making.Being empathic means to be able to connect with their patients feelings and make them feel that the provider understands their pain and the patient will be taken good care.Inorder to develop a positive patient relationship the providers need to communicate with the patient by giving them health education and giving advises .Poor communication will become a barrier when providing quality care to the patients.The successof a health care team is based on shared decision making.The patient along with other health care members should be included during each health care decisions.This will result in patient satisfaction and lessens errorsIt will also yield positive outcomes.
