Nursing is the profession that are rooted in to the professional ethics and value. As a nurse we should have professional value, because our ultimate aim is to provide comprehensive, quality health care services to all needy people.

1) personal values and beliefs

Personal value is the principal or things that guide our behaviour. Belief is the thing that we considered as true. Source of values and beliefs are family, peer group, culture, religion, society ,educational organization etc,

My personal values and beliefs include,

:kindness___this is one of my personal values that guide my behavior .This means treat others as like I want to treated by others.this value help to doing good for others.

:love___love is another personal value and it means give love to other. If we have love and we want to see others growth and we do things for other's wellness.

:happiness ___happuness is the personal value that help to become happy always and eliminate the things that make me feel sad.

These all personal value help to tackle our life goals as early as possible.

2)professional value and beliefs

Nursing is the unique profession that dealt with life of an individual and do things that are intended to good for each individual. Professional value and beliefs are important for sound functioning of nursing profession the professional value and beliefs are rooted in standard of ethics. The professional value and beliefs include

:autonomy ___in my profession we need to treat individual in their unhealthy condition. As a nurse we respect individualis own value and decisions. The value autonomy aim to respect patient and do things according to the decision of patient.

Dignity ___as a nurse we always keep our professional dignity. Dignity means our action are always focused on the patient well being. So nurse should dignity to patients .

:honesty___honesty is other professionals value and also considered as important. Honestly means telling truth to patient. As a nurse we have the responsibility to tell truth regarding patient health and progress of health status.

Precision and accuracy in caring___it is important to follow this value because in nursing we provide comprehensive health care to patients and deal with life of patient. So accurate and precise care is important for patient well-being other wise it will lead to patient harm .

:human relationships ___this is also a professional value .in nursing profession we deal with human being so sound relationship is needed to provide best care for them.

:individual and professional competent ___this value focus on the professional development. Every individual should competent in providing best care and improving careers in nursing .

:Justice___justice means doing good for patient .

These all are the important values and beliefs include nursing based on the nursing standards.

3) Alignment of values

Every individual have their own values these value are get from their families ,peer group and society. When an individual become a nurse there is alignment of personal values and professional value occur. If an individual with good value can follow the professional value.some conflicts are happening at beginning and sound alignment is need to achieve our professional goals and objectives. The professional value is rooted on the personal value .Professional value and personal values should go hand in hand to achieve desired goal and behavior.

4)Appilication of nursing theory into nursing practice is important for providing quality care to the patient.

The theory of Dorothea Orem's self care deficit nursing describe the every individual help the people who can not take care themselves. In this aspect as a nurse we have the responsibility to supply the care based on patient need when they can't care for themselves.while caring the patient we set some value to achieve desired goal.

Jean Watson human caring theory brings significant and focus on nursing discipline and view the nursing is a separate profession compared to other profession. Nursing profession need basic discipline for providing care to the patient. Discipline in the sense set of professional values and ethics
