Elon Musk or as he can proudly call himself a visionary is not just building a company but an ecosystem. Tesla has an amazing impact mostly positive on automotive engineering and economic front.

First let us take a look at the global impact of Tesla on Automotive Engineering: The two main projects which Tesla has worked and been working on is number one Electric Cars and number two Autonomous Driving. The stated goal of Tesla is to accelerate the advent of sustainable transportation. This is would give other car manufacturers stiff competition as Tesla aims at manufacturing high speed , low mentainance cars which would compete with other big players in the market and create an era of sustainable cars.

Next concept unveiled by Tesla which had a great impact on automotive engineering was autonomous driving. There was quite a lot of hype surrounding the "D" announcement from Tesla in 2014. Then it was revealed it was dual motor, first time both axles are powered independently without any linkage. This alone is a unique engineering feat. Another was the autopilot. The implications of it were not fully pronounced until recently when Tesla updated its software over the air and all cars became semi-autonomous.

Tesla with its innovation and unique strategies would not only impact the automobile sector but the entire world economy on a whole. There are various process which Tesla is working on which impact the economy, they are:
