Learning styles are concepts in psychology which tells us about how many types of learning are there with our mind and education is based on these styles so that productivity while learning can be achieved. Learning comes with daily practice and experience over a lifetime . Lets see the different types of learning each in detail which are as follows:

There are four types of learners :

1. Visual
2. Auditory
3. Read/ Write
4. Kinesthetic

Learning in school becomes better when the teaching styles matches with the students learning style.It has been seen that self study has less significance in learning.

In VARK learning styles learners are categorized by the preference of what type of learning they choose among above mentioned four types of learners.

Example : Suppose a student has to prepare for his exam now if he chose to watch video he is a visual learner , if he chose audio book he is a auditory learner , if he chose to read and write he learns by read and write but if he related the concepts to himself and tries it practically he is a type of kinesthetic learner.

Summary :

1. Visual learner always see things and learn with the help of pictures , diagrams , graphs etc.
2. Auditory learners learn best by hearing , when they talk , discuss and listen in classroom.
3. Read/ Write learners learns by text and books , words affects them a lot .
4. Kinesthetic learners learn by hands on experience.
