1. I think without stating my health and fitness goals first the answer would be inadequate. My health and fitness goals are:

a. Get regular exercise.·

b. Eat healthy plant-based foods.

c. Get adequate rest daily.

d. Maintain a healthy BMI.

e. No alcohol, smoking, or illegal drug abuse.

f. A happy life with a cheerful outlook.

Right from a very young age, I had set my eyes on these goals and I think I was always on the right path and will be so till the end. I have an ardent wish to lead a healthy life till the end of my life to be independent and not to become a burden to others. So far I have been following this and I am able to lead a healthy life without any inadequacies.

2. I feel I have successfully grown in the area I chose because to date I am leading a healthy and happy life.

3. I have met all of my short-term goals as I did not deviate from the path to my ultimate goal of leading a healthy and happy life.

4. The development of my short-term goals have immensely influenced the potential development of my long-term goals. My short-term goals were the stepping stones to my long-term goals of everlasting health and happiness. My short-term goal was no lifestyle diseases at this age, which I have achieved. This gave me the advantage of happiness that people without any lifestyle diseases usually have. Thus my short-term goal can be considered as a milestone in my path towards the long-term goals given above.

5. The strategies that I used in attempting to meet my goals can be summarized as:

a. Set my eyes on the target.

b. Verify if I have deviated from the path or on the right path by weekly self-evaluations.

c. Formulating rules and strict self-governance to help me reach my goals.

d. Avoid any tempting situations to break my rules.

6. I strongly feel that these strategies were effective in helping me meet my goals.

7. I still have long-term goals to meet and I will make sure that I meet the goals/ maintain them by verifying my short-term achievements and doing self-evaluations.
