The United States is moving towards the high quality and efficient health care system. The future healthcare system has to face a number of challenges. Technology plays an important role in the healthcare system. Technology access the sharing of information more rapidly and for the continuity of care. But it raises the organizational cost for the implementation and maintenance of network system. It increases the health care competition internationally. Further, the privacy and confidentiality are questionable. Advanced devices such as video conferencing, telehealth are not directly involved in patient care. It threats and violates the patient's health.

The implement of Universal coverage will increase the healthcare cost.
