why would there be no synaptic change after electrical stimulation is applied? what happened on a synaptic level?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer:

Because electrial stimulation is a controlled process it posses under pre determined area of the body. When electric current sent to the body or say pre determined specfic part of the body casuing a contraction.

In this therapy or say technique of neurology electric current regulated by electrodes. Due to contraction process of cells (Nerve cells) movement must get faster than previous. It decreases the inflamation. This therpay reduce edema.

At synaptic level shown both positive and negative effect but in some special condtion of patient during real time of thearpy.

Normal condition:

  1. Circulation of the body must increaes due to synapses movement.
  2. Incerase range in motion of every part of the organ.
  3. Decrease in latic acid in musles & pain will go to the neutral condition.

For Exterem or Abnormal Condition:

  1. Increase in lower tight pain if it will happen during preganancy.
  2. Incerase of heart beat from normal one.

. Electrical stimulation is applied to entorhinal cortex, and neural recording is made at the output of hippocampus. After repeatedly applying stimulation, it is found that synapses at the recording site did not change in any way (i.e., did not show greater activity when activated). Explain why change in synaptic activity did not occur, and suggest what occurred at the level of the synapse. Describe all relevant events.
