In this first session you will write a 5-paragraph paper in which you identify three goals for your educational career at Colorado Christian University, explain those goals, and describe how you plan to achieve them. The purpose of this paper is for you to demonstrate your ability to craft a simple 5-paragraph paper before we move on to more advanced types of writing in this course.

Recall, a five paragraph paper needs to contain the following:

Introductory and Concluding Paragraphs

Write a strong thesis that you can support. Highlight your thesis statement.

Introductions (openings) and conclusions frame an essay and contribute to the unity of the whole.

The introduction sets up the topic and the main idea (thesis). The introduction does two things: it hooks the reader’s interest and points to the direction and scope the essay will take.

It prepares the reader for what he or she is about to read. The conclusion reaffirms (restates using different words) the thesis and rounds out the ideas. The conclusion brings the essay to a satisfying close for the reader.

3 Supporting Paragraphs

Topic sentences to introduce your reader to the paragraph.

Concluding sentence that transition your reader to the next paragraph.

The main body of the paper consists of the supporting paragraphs.  Supporting paragraphs expand ideas that were presented in the introduction and substantiate or support the thesis statement.

Goals of educational careers

Introduction

Education means the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits. Educational goals means our plans what you plan to do with your college education.educational goals and career goals are different goals. Educational goals are plan for formal education where career goals are long term plans for employment.

Content

Career goals includes the plans for future in each profession is different. For example; a career in nursing has different goals. It includes the fast paced environment of a hospital sometimes make tired. even though the patient care and situations in the workplace are pleasing and makes happy when a patient recover by our own hardworking.

Nursing is a profession dedicated for social work. Not only the patient, a nurse cares the family of a patient and ,this career has many goals and roles. They play many roles in their career which includes patient advocate, patient educator, care giver etc. They also provide psychological support to both the patient and the family.

So the educational career goals differ from profession to profession. And also it relates to plans. The main career goals as a nurse is to care the people and the society with equality, irrespective of caste, Creed etc. Another career goals is to earn money for the daily living and also maintain a status in society

Conclusion

Educational goals and career goals are different. Educational goals is to attain education and earn a good career. Careeer goals is to earn an employment, thereby earn money, status and get a recognition in the society
