The doctor therefore prescribed the following medications for Miss Shireen; IV 5% Dextrose saline, 1L /48hrs, IV Artesunate 420mg start the 240mg be for 24hrs( to be reconstituted) IM phenergan( promethazine)10mg PRN, Tab Artersunate 240mg Bd for 3days, Tab paracetamol 1g tid for 5days and Tab multivite 1tab qid for 5days.

Doctor prescribed 5% dextrose 1l for 48 hours which means in 24 hrs we need to administer 500ml . So take 500ml of dextrose and mix artesunate injection 240mg into it .

IM phenergan should be administered in gluttiyal muscle.

Tab artesunate administered 2 times a day and tab paracetamol administered 3 times a day. Then multi vitamin should be adninistered 4 times a day

Right person : identify the person. Before administration we should make sure that we approach the right person.

Right route: medication should be administered through right route.

Right dose: properly calculate and counter cgeckcthe dose of medication to be administered.

Right time: the drug should be given at proper time and time intervel.

Right medication ;: ,we should administer appropriate medicijemas per patients condition and health.

Right education : we should provide proper health education about the medicines action and side effects.

Right documentation: the nurse who administered the medication should be chart or record the procedure on patient file.
