Project must be designed based on sustainable development model . According to this models use resources in such a way that it must be save for future generations as well. Resources must be uses in effective , efficient way and also use alternative to them if possible like at place of energy resources must focus on renewable energy sources like solar, wind, geothermal energy etc. Recycling, reuse, refills, renovate the existing resources and thus we can increase or save the resources. Ground water recharge , agroforestry, sustainable land use, organic farming, reforestation/afforestation, check dam to prevent erosion, green wall to prevent desertification etc.

Protecting natural resources is essential for sustainable development as use existing resources wisely and efficient, effective and maximum utilise, so it can help future generations as well and by protecting them we can ensure equitable justice as weaker section also take benefit from their use other wise inequality as fast as increase use of natural resources unsustainable by some people of society.
