Corruption is a very frequently used word .which means that the abuse of officer or in the absence of laws penalizing and preventing . In other word we can say that corruption means misuse of power .

The issue of corruption in present day effects many countries. Corruption is bad to the extent that it can slow down the efficient service delivery. Corruption is a oath which needs to be addressed given its heavy cost to society. These cost could be a socio-economic, political and psychological nature. The fight against should be waggled by the citizen . While citizenship comes with rights and responsibility , it should be undergrided by active participation in a purposeful and goal-directed manner. As such participating may means sacrificing individual values for the common goods. The citizen were fight against corruption or the common good. Common societal problem have the potential to unite citizens. They also have the inherent potential to destabilise unity in the community due to hopeless and the free-rider syndrome . Therefore , paticiaption requires that individual and the collective envision earning benefits following private or collective cost-benefit analyses. If the cost is greater than the benefit, individual or collective action are threantened. The fight against corruption equally requires strong local leadership and strong social ties because these element are crucial for social mobilization.

INTERDEPENCY this implies that there should be a symbiotic realtionship between different institution . A symbiotic realtionship with political nad leadership will culture literature reveals that corruption. A common problem, leadership, institution, system and processes for participating in corruption.
