Solutions

Expert Solution

The emergence of a deadly new strain of influenza indicates a need for mass inoculation program (i.e, vaccination) in your community. The public health data used to determine the need for the program includes age categories in population, school absenteeism, over the counter medication purchases, the symptoms presented to health care providers, vaccination history, and community makeup

The public health data can be located in internet services.

After completing the mass inoculation program for preventing the disease, by evaluating the program i.e, the existence of the new strain of influenza determines the effectiveness of the program, i.e, the success rate.

Inorder to prevent the transmission of disease, quarantine should be done. i.e, restricting case and carrier patients. It can be done at airports. And also by uploading the details regarding the disease in the internet will reduce the transmission. Why because they will follow the preventive measures used here and also the successful actions.
