According to the Academy of Medical- surgical Nurses " mentoring
is a reciprocal and collaborative learning relationship between
two, sometimes more, individuals with mutual goals and shares
accountability for the outcomes and asuccess of the
relationship."

mentor and mentee must trust each other.
- mentor and mentee must be willing to share both unpleasent and
plesent informations and experiences about themselfs.
- mentor and mentee must give constructive feedbacks , include
negative and positive fedbacks.
- mentor need to let mentee know that they believe the mentee
will succeed.
- mentor should give their time, energy,and material support to
teach, guide, assist, council and inspire the mentee.
