Intel corporation is a manufacturing company of chipset for the systems.

Porter five forces model says out of 5 if 3 or more than 3 are favorable then it is advisable to go for the business. Otherwise don't go into that business.

1. Threat of new entrants : high (unfavorable) as new companies also going into this business ex symentac

2.Threat of substitutes : low (favorable) as there are no such substitutes available

3. Bargaining power of customer : low (favorable) as customer do not have much option as all the computer devices are generally having intel chipset

4 bargaining power of suppliers : low (favorable) as they require huge quantity intel has a high bargaining power over its suppliers.

5. Industry rivalry : high (unfavorable) as existing competitors are having growth in the market share over a last decade ( EMC corporation)

As from the above conclusions

3 are in favorable so intel can continue his business
