ADVERSE CONSEQUENCES OF THE FINANCIAL TARGETS ON EMPLOYEES BEHAVIOR WITHIN THE ORGANISATION ARE:
1. TARGETS THAT FOCUS SOLELY ON OUTPUT QUANTITY CAN LEAD TO LOWER QUALITY PRODUCTS.
2. TARGET'S CAN ENCOURAGE UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR AND LEAD TO MISREPORTING OF PERFORMANCE MEASURE.
3. TARGET'S CAN REDUCE COOPERATION AMONGST WORKERS.
4.TARGETS IMPACT ON THE HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES AND EXCESSIVE RISK TAKING IS NOT GOOD FOR HUMAN HEALTH.
5. TARGET'S CAN LEAD TO WRONG FOCUS AND LOWER WORK QUALITY.
IMPLICATIONS IN REACHING ORGANISATIONAL OVERALL OBJECTIVES ARE :
1. IDENTIFY HIGH LEVEL GOALS AND OBJECTIVES WHICH IS THE MISSION THAT GUIDES THE ENTERPRISE.
2. MAKE SURE EACH OBJECTIVE IS CLEAR, ACTIONABLE AND ATTAINABLE.
3. DEFINE CLWAR MILESTONES. PLAN, BUILD AND DEVELOP THE ACTIONS.
4. USE IF PREVIOUS GOALS AND RESULTS WHILE SETTING THE CURRENT OBJECTIVES ACTION.
5. ENCOURAGE INCENTIVES, PAYOUT FREQUENCY AND ALSO RECOGNIZE PEOPLE PERFORMANCE.
