FIELD TEST: It is the experiment,research or trial conducted under actual conditions instead of controlled conditions in a laboratory.

• In this the test is conducted in real world or natural setting.
• It tends to observe,Analyse and describe what it exists rather than a manipulating Study.
• It is used when there are large number of subjects are present and to obtain Clear result without any errors.
• It is Difficult to perfom and cost is high
• It takes too much time to perfom so it is done when you have long time

1. The Calculation of the individuals Blood Pressure after their Daily Living Activities to know the range  of Blood pressure in Normal Humans are tested to know that there is difference in blood pressure based on the activity
2. The Risk of Osteoarthritis in the age group is high in which age group is tested based on their life style to know that the risk is high in which age group
3. The quantity of production of Synovial fluid in 2 different areas with extreme hot and extreme cold conditions to know whether the synovial production is based on the temperature

FIELD AND LAB TESTS: It is the experiment conducted and natural conditions and in the laboratory with some controlled variables

• In this the test is conducted in their natural setting and in laboratories
• It tends to observe,Analyse and describe the subject's existence and natural and controlled conditions.
• It shows the difference of survival in natural and artificial setting
• The result is not as clear as Field test, as some conditions are not controlled
• It is performed in Limited subjects with equal distribution in groups of field and lab

1. The Calculation of High Density Lipids(HDL) in a society based on their life style where the subjects from their natural environment and subjects with specific trained life style to know the changes in HDL quantity in 2 different groups of opposite life style

• The Time to perform is less when compared to field study
• The chance for errors are high, Cost is low and ease of administration is less.
