We have seen evidence that teachers produce skills which are not captured by contemporaneous test scores. Should we interpret those skills as being noncognitive, or do you think they might represent other kinds of cognitive skills which are simply not measured by the exam?
It is a known fact that there afre teachers with a heavy skills which they do not show in their test score
As you have mentioned here that whether to interpret it as a noncognitive skill??
Everyone have their own view on this
And i concive this view as non cognitive itself
As we all know that noncognitive means the softskills
That means the ability to motivate and interact with people
Obviously as iam concerned this what we need to be developed in students
This skill is what lacking in the students of this era
I have noticed students struggling to find a way of talking/interactig with others
And the way they behave is very odd
The inter personal skills and noncognitive skills are very much necessary
The basic advanatage i feel of having this is improved confidence
This is the main thing to be developed in the human so that they will be able to behave and learn to face situations
Obviously these teachers must represent the students with cognitive skills and give them some motivations so that they could be good and well ahead in life
HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL
PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS
THANKS
