How are statistics generated?

Name three different types of public health or general healthcare organizations and the type of statistics that would be the most beneficial to them
How are statistics generated?
Statistics are nothing but the numerical data collected for particular sequences of event happened and referring to public information it is produced for the benefit of the society. These types of functions are generally funded by the state budgets under the official government programs. Statistical data is equally accessible to all and these types of statistics are often used in decision-making tool in business and society beneficial schemes.
Statistics are generated by various means such as by questioning a set of Questionnaire, survey, telephonic interviews and data collection from government records. Many surveys are based on a questionnaire related to the topic and answers reported from the subjects to the set of questions all the bulk data was gathered together at one place and compiled in the systematic form of data set. This data latter reported with the application of mathematical calculations and graphical representations known as statistics.
Vital statistics: The statistics representing the vital events in the society are collectively known as vital statistics, All vital events are local such as birth, death, termination of pregnancy, marriages, and divorces that are registered locally hence vital data is generally available with local governing bodies at a district level. There are 57 vital registration jurisdictions in the United States; The 50 states, 5 territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands), and 2 are the District of Columbia and New York City. Which are members of the National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information System. NAPHSIS represents the interests of jurisdictions on cross-cutting vital records and health statistics matters including national standards for data collection, exchange, issuance, and its verification.
These types of vital statistical data are generally outlined in an immediate horizon of health policies and strategies of healthcare-related bodies to develop new plans of society. Vital statistics also help in analyzing the current scenario of population distribution and the proportional ratio of vital incidences.
Following are some public health or general healthcare organizations which are responsible to collect and monitor statistical data along with the type of statistical data they collect
1.National Center for Health Statistics: they collect and manages inter-governmental data of public health and disseminates the Nation’s official vital statistics.
2.Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): CDC represents an array of health-related data sets such as chronic diseases; health practice & prevention; Communicable diseases; Injury prevention; Environmental health; Occupational health.
3.American Cancer Society Statistics: The ACS tracks cancer occurrence including survival and death records of cancer patients.
