Traditional training is the practice of developing a specific type of skills which is desired by the organization particularly for the specific goal with the help of trainer. It is given by the specific skill oriented trainer by the use of new technology. Traditional training required physical presence of employees or trainees as well as trainer, the space for gather of trainees and resources in physical basis.
High tech training is more or less similar to the traditional training, but only difference is in high tech training, the new Information Technological instruments are used in order to make the training in real time. Here, the devices such as projector, video conferencing, online training and materials etc. used in order to train the trainees. The training process can be saved in order to watch in later time for the revision process. In this way also time is reduced.
New technology has more impact on the training process as time required in gathering employees, space required in traditional training, material arrangement etc. is reduced. This time is utilized for other useful purpose.
New technology actually reduces the time needed for the training process. It actually trains trainees in the most effective way as they have the elements which repeats the same process any time. This would make employees to feel more comfortable while process of learning in the training. Hence, enhance the productivity of the training process. New technology make the trainees to get into the technologies which involve in the process. Hence, this would give the more exposure to the technologies. Although new technologies does not required a physical presence of employees but it makes the people interactive in virtual sense.
The budget involved in the traditional process is less as compare to the high tech training process. As the new technologies are involved in the training process so the monetary value of the training process is surely an expensive one. When the organization has the limited allocation of budget to the training process then the traditional training is more effective. New technology adoption required more allocation of budget which actually fulfills the high tech technological demands of the trainees. Budget decides the type and way of training process. The quality also assessed by the budget.
The training process needs the equipment’s such as projectors, computers or systems, an internet connections, web cameras, microphones etc. in case of new technologies accessibility. In traditional process, the budget is allocated for the resources used in the training process, salary of the trainers and other expenses. Hence, budget plays an important role.
