Multiple role playing means a method in which a person take many roles in single fictional situation to analyze the situation and make their experience, skills and abilities more better than before.

It is used in trainning to put employee in a situation where they have to demonstrate thier competencies and skills to deal in such situation. The main aim of training is to improve knowledge and skills of employees. This is what multiple role playing does. It helps employees to see better clear picture of situation which could be real life situation and let them use thier skills and experience to analyze the situation.

for example- if a salesperson is given training to sale water purifiers to customers so in this employee will be playing role of sales person as well as customer to understand both sides and achieve objective to close the sales deal.

Regular role plays are focused on limited scope of training while multiple role playing widen the horizen of training. Regular role plays consider single role while multiple role plays involve employees to learn from different roles. Regular role plays make employees specialized but multiple role plays make employees more versitile in many areas.

Regular role plays are less time consuming but multiple role plays are time consuming yet very effective in learning and teaching employees.Regular role play limit perspective of employees but multiple role playing helps employees to have wide and clear perspective of thier job and people around him/her.
