Barriers to successful HR strategy implementation are as follows:

  1. Resistance from employees due to need to change processes, behaviors, authority, etc.
  2. Dear of loss of jobs. Employees may fear the loss of job of they are not clearly informed the reason and benefits of the new strategy implementation.
  3. Management may resist if they feel the insecurity about loss of authority or power due to the change.
  4. Communication . If the new strategy is not communicated properly, it may be misunderstood and thus lead to failure.
  5. Absence of risk management plan. In case of any failure, if there is no backup plan, the entire implementation may fail.
