What is the relationship between a company's corporate-level strategy and its business model?
They both are directly correlated. A company’s corporate-level strategy is the base on which its business model gets created and helps in determining the kinds of functional-level strategies which the company uses to maximize long-run profitability. The importance of a company’s corporate-level strategy is that it can make a positive impact on the profitability by helping it in achieving a better competitive position in the market.
