Social class is defined as the groupings/ hierarchies/ classification of the people based on the extent of possession of the wealth and status.
A person's financial ability/ economic facets, the extent of respect/ honour received and the popularity, the power- all these shape one's social class position.
Social class indeed is having great influence in the context of the educational experiences. Education attainment, the admissions in the at par institutes, the facilities allied, academic environmental facets, opportunities like industrial visits and exposure/ internships, anything related wherein the more amount of money is needed reflects the dissatisfaction of the segment of the people that lacks financial ability that matches the said attributes.
In most of the developing and underdeveloped countries, the educational opportunities depend upon the status/ respect/ popularity of the family. If the family is with it, there will be educational facilities provided unasked.
On other hand, if there is a family that lacks such a social influence, they will miss the educational opportunities.
