Market research of what potential customers need and develop products and services to meet those needs. Marketing strategies apply this concept in action to specific companies and target markets. Companies that implement a marketing strategy find that different customers have different needs. To solve this problem, they put similar users into the market segment and focused on their general needs. Such marketing strategies are effective only if they use a relevant market share that allows companies to target segments with products and services tailored to their specific needs.
