How do you think the practice patterns of primary care physicians will change under the new models of health care? What are the biggest problems that this could bring to primary care practices?
In the current scenario of the practice patterns of the primary care there is need to adjust the physicians under the new models of the healthcare. As few physicians are unable to afford the office-based utilities and staff, equipment expenditure.
Hence the physicians have more inclined toward the home based care, or care on call, or working with patient centered working on medical care home or working with managed care organizations or working with the Mayo clinics.
This is due to opting the low financial risks practices as there atre so many practice oriented risks of the physician. There are so many costly insurance for security against the malpractice cases for the physicians.
There is need to insure the assets of the own hospitals on the regular basis and there is inspection regularly. Hence to avoid such burden in new care models the physicians have opted the above mentioned care services.
This has totally changed the scenario of the traditional primary care as there is no bonding between the patient and the doctors. And due to very busy schedule with multiple organizations doctors have no proper time for the effective care of the patients.
Patients are confused about the fixed site of the practice of the physicians, that had problem in quick approach the physicians at early stage of the disease conditions.
