Describe Britain's “mixed farming” and its effects on agriculture in that country.
The cultivation of crops along side with the animal husbandry is
known as mixed farming. For example a mixed farm may grow cereal
crops and also keep cattle, sheep, cow, pig and etc. This farming
has many benefits such as the the soil will get more fertilizers
and the waste of crops can feed to animals such as goat cow and
etc. Moreover this type of farming reduces the risk of the farmers
to make loss due to whether condition for example If crops are not
giving much profit then the animals in the farm are good resources
for both food and money.
This mixed farming system has better effect on agriculture in the
Britain. The Mixed agricultural system makes the farmers more
economic self reliant and it attracts more people to the
agriculture.
The Mixed farming system makes the soil more productive and the
production of both animal and crops will increase by adopting this
system more in the country.
One of the another good perspective of the mixed farming system are
that it balance the the nitrogen by designing the mixed farming of
the arable, dairy and sheep farming are integrated to a large
scale.
