Sleep disorder are quite common in older adults as their sleep
patterns and habits change which results in having trouble falling
asleep, sleep fewer hours, wake up frequently and get less quality
sleep.
Sleep is a vital mechanism, regardless of your age. It has the
ability to restore energy levels and heal both physical and
cognitive damage.
benefits of sleep:
1. it can improve both overall health and quality of life.
2. A good night’s sleep is crucial for your mental well-being.
3. During sleep, our bodies undergo restorative functions like muscle growth, protein synthesis and tissue repair – all of which are needed to keep your immune system strong.
