Health promotion concept was adopted at the first international conference in Ottawa in 1986.. The concept focused to traditional bio-medical vision of health in one and bio-psychological vision and to confirm their health condition..it has close link with right to health, health literacy, empowerment, resilience, community and primary health care.. prevention and health promotion are complementary but not identical concepts.. health promotion among poor countries it uses very holistic development approach and address social, environmental, cultural to determinants of health...It is driven by the concern for equity in health...

In my view health promotion is a process of enabling people and group to increase control over,and to improve their health and quality of life..

My personal values and beliefs towards health promotion I will develop in my life as a nurse I am working with people who need actually care..I am providing services for vulnerable people to need help to get well soon...I will think about personal values and beliefs along with professional values in health promotion..I will not use my own idea when I am giving care for patients...As a personal value I will show standard and quality while providing care..my personal values and beliefs in health promotion I will give values to family, culture, religion, education and special group..it help for me to work effectively with patient, resolve conflicts and support our organization rules and care them accordingly..
