It engaged in the healthcare activities which enhance the health of the people globally. So, advocacy in global health is important. It make it easier for the people to understand the health issues, there preventive measures as well as promoting their own health.
In the healthcare profession, the advocacy can be indulge as by providing guidance to the patient regarding their health conditions. The healthcare professionals provides cultural competence environment to the patient to reduce the health disparities. They also advocates the patient according to their beliefs and cultural values. This enable the patient to express their views and discuss their problems.
The advocacy in global health and diversity plays major role in building and maintaining the occupational health facilities as well as programs to reduce the health disparities.
Respecting other cultural beliefs could reduce the health disparities, reduces the risk of chronic disease and elevates the positive outcomes of the treatment provided to the people.
