Sustaining change can be difficult, as there are many variables that can affect implementation. One critical component of EBP is to ensure that practice change is part of an organization's culture so it will continue to impact outcomes over time. Name two potential barriers that may prevent your EBP change proposal from continuing to obtain the same desired results 6 months to a year from now, and your strategies for overcoming these barriers.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Evidence-based practice is scientifically generated by expert researchers or practitioners to change specific practices for the benefit of the patients. For the production of proper EBP, the researchers need to do proper research work. There are many barriers that prevent getting the desire EBP.

The two potential barriers for the prevention of getting desire EBP are

1. Lack of time

There is a need for lots of time to see the desired result. The high evident based practice is produced by experimental study, so it needs more time. There is also a need to review many previous research articles related to the current topic to get proper knowledge regarding other expert opinions. So lack of time is one of the barriers.

2. Lack of knowledge

The researcher who is going to do research work should have proper knowledge regarding how to conduct a research study to produce high evidence practice. If the researcher is fresher then he or she should take help from the senior experts to complete the research. Lack of knowledge regarding research work will affect the getting proper EBP.

Strategies to overcome these barriers are

1. plan the work

The research work should outline before starting work according to the time to complete. This will helps to understand how much time can be done in each step of the research process. Distribution of time should be done for each step of research work. So that the desired EBP can be produced by the researcher on time.

2. Research education

The researcher should know the process of research work. He should be thorough with the topic and activities to do according to the steps. He should also follow ethics in research. The fresher can work under the expert's senior to get proper knowledge regarding how o conduct the research study. This will helps to get the desire goals or EBP.

Purchasing a car is a difficult decision. Car prices are a function of many variables such as mileage, age, foreign or domestic manufacture and engine technology utilized. Develop and run the following multiple regression model: Interpret the beta coefficient (slope)s of all slopes: mileage, age, dummy engine and dummy foreign Interpret R squared value of the model and root mean squared error (RMSE) Would mileage and age influence your decision based on the statistical output for this sample data? Would...

Making decisions on what to do can be difficult if there are many options and different requirements (criteria) that affect the decision. A practical way to help make decisions that involve selecting the best option from many based on how well each option satisfies each criterion is an “advanced prioritization matrix”. Using an example of purchasing a new car, television, cell phone, computer or any other item, construct an “advanced prioritization matrix” showing all options, multiple criteria, weight of each...
