Making decisions on what to do can be difficult if there are many options and different requirements (criteria) that affect the decision. A practical way to help make decisions that involve selecting the best option from many based on how well each option satisfies each criterion is an “advanced prioritization matrix”. Using an example of purchasing a new car, television, cell phone, computer or any other item, construct an “advanced prioritization matrix” showing all options, multiple criteria, weight of each criteria and your scoring for each options against each criterion and the total score for each option. Use the table format in Word or Excel spreadsheet to demonstrate your example.
A priortization in life is needed with so many options around one cannot have everything, one cannot put all resources everytime in gathering a thing so best use of resources has to be sought and life's specific goals at every stage i.e which goal is priority at a time is to be decided.
Building the prioritization matrix on purchasing a car:-

3.Compare criteria relative importance:
For me look and engine are most important. I like the look of XUV500 and the engine is also very powerful. It is also a seven seater but does not look that bulky.
4. Weigh your criteria: Apart from price these are the best criterias to compare.
5. Evaluate your criteria against all others.
6. Compare remaining choices for other features
7. Make final selection: based on all I conclude that buying XUV500 W10 would be the best choice for me as per price and engine and look.
