For making an idea a success, a proper implementation is
essential. An implementation plan needs to be created to ensure
successful implementation of the idea. The most significant
considerations in creating an implementation plan are :
- The first requirement of an implementation plan is the clarity
of outcomes. The end result that an idea and its implementation is
trying to achieve must be outlined and detailed out to all the
members involved in the implementation project.
- After the outcome is finalised, the next step is to determine
the sequence of steps and action plan to follow and stick to the
steps. The plan of action must be brainstormed, finalised and
communicated to all the team members.
- Once the action plan is finalised, a team member must be made
responsible and accountable for each step. The responsible team
member must be given access to all resources and budget for
successfully completing the step.
- The project implementation leader should monitor the completion
of steps by each responsible team member and track the progress on
a regular basis.
- In case of any deviation from schedule or cost and time
overruns, feedback must be given to the team members to bring back
the implementation process on track till implementation of the idea
is completed.
