Sexual problems are caused by various factor and it has even relation with the age , Gender and even cultural differences. Sexual activity involves the coordination of various systems like endocrine gland which control the hormone and nerves system also.

Let’s discuss about the physical causes first, physical in the sense factors or diseases which affects the sexual dysfunction.

1. Diabetes : Most commonly in men because Diabetes can cause erectile dysfunction which is causes by the damage of nerve which is involved in the erection because of the poor long term improper sugar control

2. Cardiac disorders and blood vessels disorders

3. Neurological problems

4. Alcoholism

5. Drug abuse

Psychological causes:

a. Depression

b. Anxiety disorders

c. Marital and relation problems

d. Sexual trauma ( Past sexual events holding a negative impact on the person)

It completly depends on any of the mentioned causes which directly or indirectly impact the sexual performance and causes sexual disfunction.Ruling out of the underling causes and treating it an be considered as the solution of the sexual problems.
