Parallel Function:
The PR department and the strategic decision-making department should work side by side so that there should not be any miscommunication which is being conveyed to the key stakeholders. There should be a top-down approach to effectively communicate to the stakeholders and also sometimes stakeholders are allowed by PR to take part in effective decisions.PR also identifies the decisions which are going to affect stakeholders and may bring down the reputation.
Buiding a stronger bond:
PR often creates a bridge of communication between the company and the internal and external stakeholders and media houses to market the view and thought of the company. This helps in building a stronger relationship with the stakeholders. Strategic public relations creates a brand value in the market.
Segmentation:
PR also helps in identifying the market segments from the communications it receives from the market. It helps the marketing department to segment the market according to the requirements of the customers. This helps in promoting product and service to the target audience easily.
