What role does the Bremstrallung process play in the biomedical applications of x-rays?
X-Rays used in medicine (radiographics) are generated via Bremsstrahlung process,
Bremsstrahlung radiation is emitted when a charged particle is deflected (decelerated) by another charge. If plasma produces radiation in this way and the radiation can escape the environment without further interaction (i.e., the plasma is optically thin) then you will see Bremsstrahlung radiation.
> electron in plasma are accelarated with encounter with massive ions .
>this is the dominent continuum emmision mechanism in thermal plasmas.
> an important coolant for plasmas at high temprature.
