what is health ethics and what role does it play in the pharmaceutical care process.
Health ethics is the branch of ethics that deals with ethical issues in health, health care, medicine and science. It involves discussions about treatment. It looks moral issues involved in our understanding of life.
Health ethics in pharmaceutical process:
Big pharma is a highly regulated ethical business. It meets the regulated standards that are put in place to prevent any biased practices that would cause undue harm over " overall benefit" to the public.
From a deontological perspective, pharmaceutical firms have a moral obligation to provide fairly priced drugs lest they use their customers as a means to profit rather than prioritizing fair access to medication.
Pharmaceutical industry develops, produces and market drugs or pharmaceutical licensed for use as medication. They are used to deal in generic/ brand medication and medical devices. They are subject to a variety of laws and regulations regarding the patenting, testing and ensuring safety and efficacy and marketing of drugs.
