Impairments:
a. Physical impairment: - paralysis of the lower limbs –loss of movements
b. Neurological impairment: - loss of sensation in lower limbs
c. Mental impairment: - depression – sad and refusing to socially interact
d. Bowel impairment: - constipation
e. Vision impairment: - short sightedness (myopia)
Diagnosis:
Pot’s spine diagnosis: - Mantoux test, CBC, spinal fluid culture and sensitivity, blood culture and sensitivity, urine culture and sensitivity, and X-ray chest, spinal cord.
a. Physical impairment: - History collection and physical examination of Head to Foot assessment will provide the results
b. Neurological impairment: - Glasgow coma scale, and sensory scales along with MRI , CT SCAN
c. Mental Impairment: - Mental Health Screening, Depression test
d. Bowel impairment: - stomach harness, difficulty in passing stool, bloating, and flatulence
e. Vision impairment: - Snell’s Chart along with vision tests
