Communicable diseases are rapidly spread through exposure of environment of the infected person. Examples tuberculosis, MRSA, Ebola, measles, common cold.

Whereas non communicable diseases have a different modes of development within the human body. Examples heart diseases, chronic kidney diseases, diabetes etc.

Treatment of communicable diseases are mainly using antibiotics of different generations and prevention is to avoid person to person contact, using of infected articles, reducing the growth of vectors, immunization. Whereas the treatment of the specific clinical features developed with the course of diseases. Prevention is mainly through life style modifications and reducing the risk factors.

Most threathening communicable disease is HIV as the incubation period of the disease is high and identification occurs at a late stage of the disease. Moreover the cost of treatment and the social stigma attached with the disease make it more threathening .

Most threathening non communicable disease are heart diseases.
