A non communicable disease is Diabetes. Diabetes is mainly of two types-Type 1 and Type 2.It is a metaboloc disorder of the body in which a person has high blood glucose either due to inadequate production of insulin or body cells do not respond to insulin.
Age group:- Type 1 diabetes usually occur in children(4-7 and 10-14 years of age). Type 2 diabetes usually occur in adults (>45 years of age).
Risk factors:- type 1 diabetes :- a) genetically transferred, common in those who are having parent or sibling suffering from the same. b) genetic factors:-some genes are also responsible for this. c) Age factors. d) Geographical factors.
Type 2 diabetes :- Weight , family history, inactive, fat distribution, race or ethnicity, age.

Discussion :- A lot of people know about the disease but sometimes they are unaware of the consequences. Some health camps can be done to teach everyone the consequences of getting diabetes and how with some simple but efficient lifestyle techniques anyone can prevent themselves from becoming a diabetic patient.
Conclusion :- Diabetes is a well known non Communicable disease. It can occur in any age though prevalent in some age groups. Both the types are squally dangerous. Simple lifestyle techniques can save anyone from getting this disease. Awareness is the main key for achieving this.
