Emergency treatment of Tetanus are---
Firstly wash any visible woud with clean water because it is necessary for stop the spreading of infecton and we also remove any foreign particle with sterlized tweezer . After that whenn bleeding is stop then covered the wound.
After that immediately provide intravenous tetanus antitoxin to patient .because it provide quick protection against tetanus but for short time
Then give him tetanus toxoid .It is also known as tetanus vaccine.because it provide immunity against tetanus infection.
Then , Finally given antibiotic like penicillin, doxycycline . because antibiotic fights and kill the bacteria whic is responsible for tetanus.
