Tools that would make you more productive at work are -
Utilize peak energy hours
Each person have different time to eat, sleep, or work at specific times and it varies from person to person. For instance; my sleeping patterns could be different from you and vice versa. Similarly, the productivity levels at specific hours of the day also differ for each individual. Find out these energy hours and try to complete your most important tasks during these hours.
Be proactive
Plan your day beforehand. Develop a plan and define timeframe for particular tasks. In doing so, you’ll find yourself to be more focused and you’ll have plenty of time left on your hands to run other errands too.
Set deadlines.
While we usually think of stress as a bad thing, a manageable level of self-imposed stress can actually be helpful in terms of giving us focus and helping us meet our goals.
Don’t multitask.
Our brain can’t focus 2 things at one time. If you try to do 2 things at one time, your attention will continuously jump from this task to other. And science proven that we will lost 33% of total time to get back the activity. So that, as the rule 1, we must value each minute we have.
Break down tasks
Break down the tasks evenly for a progressive and faster development. Highly efficient managers rationalize their work structure to simple tasks and tick off as and when one is completed. It declutters the brain for sure.
