Corporate culture is said to be a set of opinions, value systems, and behavioral standards that are unique for each corporation and altogether represent a specific character of their functions. It can be easily noticed in behavior, mutual interaction, self-understanding, and understanding of the environment. Knowledge about the basic work culture and basic elements helps an individual to strengthen and improve. Culture is also said to be the driving tool of decisions, actions, and ultimately the overall performance of the organization. The concept of the corporate culture exhibits the need to keep an organization aligned with the needs and be identified by the potential customers of the market easily. Employees within the organization who aims to achieve success and recognition must adhere to, accept, and adapt to the particular corporate culture. It will bring discipline as well as show a systematic path that will lead to his carrier objective.
Organizations with good corporate culture are generally more successful than organizations with a lack of corporate culture. For example Big MNC's like Apple, Google, Infosys, Tata Group, etc. This corporate culture varies from organization to organization, for example, some firm follows innovative corporate culture, few follow the customer-oriented corporate culture. Creating a customer-oriented culture implies an innovation-based culture, and can be considered as a competitive advantage that enables enterprises to react instantly towards the changes of the environment as well as customer’s requirements and thus to stay competitive in a dynamic market.
Competitive conditions support the effective utilization of resources, human potential, strategic management, and building a strong corporate culture which is the basic requirement to build core competency. The overall concept of corporate culture assumes that it influences the organization and management within the enterprise and that it influences the employees’ behavior to align them towards the objective.
Hence from the above discussion, we can conclude how culture seeds competitiveness. For example the discipline culture in the military .How it helps to reach their optimum level,
