Delegation is an important management skill. A manager can’t do every task him/herself so has to be able to delegate to staff. Delegation also helps a manager develop skills in subordinates. The textbook mentions that the process of delegations consists of three essential parts (Equality of the Three Essential Parts). Choose one of the three essential parts of delegation that you think would be the most difficult for you to do. Name the essential part you are discussing. Describe what happens in the essential part you are discussing. Do a self-analysis of what might be challenging for you in carrying out this element of delegation. What is one thing you could do to improve your delegation for this element? What is one time-management strategy that you can use to improve your own time management?

There are three elements of delegation of authority:

Authority is the most difficult part I feel to do..To fulfill the responsibilities from certain authority delegated it will be difficult to take decisions independently and accomplish the task efficiently..we need self_analysis of what might be challenging to do to carry out the elements of delegation..when superior giving a assigned work to complete properly we must have some balance between authority and responsibility..Because the superior will choose a correct person to delegate the work..so we must accomplish the work to complete that task..

There are some standards to accomplish the task effectively..so we can get some guidelines and points from superior..it will help subordinates to accomplish the desired work with better results, with in the guidelines..

One time strategic management provides overall direction to an organization's objectives,developing policies and plans to achieve the goal and provides resources to implement the plans..strategic management is a framework to decision-making in the context of complex environment and competitive dynamics..it also provide feedback loop to monitor execution and to inform the next round of planning..we can use this management strategy when the superior delegate the authority work to do..it helps improve our own time management..
