Socrates believed that a person who chose courage, honor and truth over actions and deeds that would bring personal gain is ideally right. He stated that a man who behaved based upon his conscience is said to be one of a good integrity. He believed that motivation came into humans from the desire for happiness and that one's wisdom is developed from the process of introspection which allows attaining meaning from philosophy. This is inturn stated to affect one's judgement where one should find meaning and think deeper into the situation rather than accepting superficial facts .
