•Equal pay act 1963- This act States that men and women who work in a company and does the same amount of work should be paid the same there should be no discrimination in the pay on the basis of gender.

•The civil rights act 1964- This act States that there should be no discrimination on employment based on someone's relegion,color,sex or Nationality. Example if one person is from India and another from US both should be given equal opportunity in employment and there should not be any discrimination like only the person who belongs to US will get the job.

•Age discrimination in employment act 1967- this act States that there should be no discrimination done on the basis of age who are 40 years or older.

•The civils right act 1991-this act States that monetary compensation should be paid if someone does intentional discrimination in employment.
